How to configure Sarvatra BSNL Wifi step by step

  • Step-1: Register at BSNL Portal
  • Click here to register at portal or use Link https://portal.bsnl.in/ftth/wifiroaming
  • Enter your FTTH phone number and registered mobile number with your phone (see your telephone bill)
  • Verify otp
  • Create or set your password
  • Note your username (Generally your mobile number) displayed
  • Step-2: Configure your ONT
  • Log on to your ont . Open browser and type url http://192.168.1.1
  • Enter username and password
  • Create a new SSID in wireless settings
    Got to your Network -> WLAN / Wireless settings
  • Add a new SSID Sarvatra_BSNLWiFi (Be sure to use the same letters. SSID is case sensitive)
    in Syrotech ont click "WLAN Advanced"

  • Apply Changes / Save
  • Go to Wireless Security, Select "Sarvatra_BSNLWiFi" SSID and set security as none
    in Syrotech ONT Click on "WLAN Security" Select SSID Sarvatra_BSNLWiFi and set security as none
  • Now create a new VLAN 4060 and assign it to the SSID Sarvatra_BSNLWiFi
    Click on Network -> internet or WAN -> in the connection name select "Add new WAN connection" and assign the fields as follows

  • Save Changes / Apply changes
  • Check wether it is added in the Status
    Goto Status->Network / WAN
    Check for its listing
  • Step-3: Connect to Sarvatra_BSNLWiFi
  • Open your Mobile WIFI and connect to Sarvatra_BSNLWiFi
  • After Sucessfull connection you will receive a notification on top of your mobile to "sign-in" or "Tap for option"
  • Follow the Link
  • Enter your username noted at Step-1 final stage (Your mobile number) and password and click on LOGIN
